The New Face Of The Travel Industry

...For a few years now, we have grown quite accustomed to all of the commercials, ads, and billboards promoting Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity and many more online travel portals that have become household names.

But, the travel industry is once again beginning a transition phase that is sure to once again change the face of the travel industry.

There are a few companies that have started over the past five to six years that have developed a program that allows people to start their own businesses as Work From Home travel Agents, or Referring travel Agents (RTA's).

A Referring travel Agent is someone who purchases an online travel store and spends most of their time marketing their travel portals to as many people as they can. Often times, the mantra is that travel store owners can market to their family and friends in hopes that they will book their travel with someone they know instead of a faceless internet site.
